If you're like us, you'll do almost anything to stay off someone's mailing list. |
| We value our customers and our potential customers. Abusing or insulting folks with whom you hope to do business doesn't make sense. There are advantages of being on our list. If we are doing a show in your area, we'll drop you an e-mail to tell you when and where. Or, if we were having a sale or announcing a new boat.... the only way we will let you know is via e-mail. |
| Each year 40 or 50 people send us their new e-mail address or physical addresses.....just to make sure we don't lose touch. |
| And, yes, two or three times a year someone will ask to be taken off of our mailing list. That's all it takes, zip, you're gone. |
| There is also an additional benefit ..sometimes an attractive delivery opportunity presents itself. For example, we were once offered a deal in which we were able to ship a boat from Vermont to California ....for $162. We sent an e-mail for folks in our database living in California....and, boom, made a couple of sales. Those lucky folks saved nearly $500 on shipping. |
